Dave Minnick served along with his wife Kelliesha in Malawi from 2023-2025, first as an Environment Volunteer and then as Peace Corps Volunteer leader. Before joining service, Dave worked as a career chef and brought his love for food to Malawi.

If I’m going to talk about service, I’m going to do it in the language I am most comfortable with. A six-course meal with a story arc.
You know how when you just need to know how much sugar to add to a cake, but then you have to read through someone’s entire life story just to get to the recipe? This is kind of like that.
The food on the table isn't what makes you feel full, it's the people who surround it.
